1. Check in time for cabin reservations are 4:00 p.m. and check out time is 12:00 p.m.
2. Check in time for campsite reservations are 4:00 p.m. and check out time is 4:00 p.m.
3. Swimming is allowed in designated area only , at designated times only, and at the risk of the guest.
4. All boats shall be registered in accordance with State law and operators shall adhere to all State Boating laws. Park Managers have the authority to regulate, remove, and control any or all boats on District property.Operators are responsible for damages sustained due to negligence.
5. Camping is allowed in designated areas only. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. daily. Anyone renting a campsite or cabin must be 21 years or older and possess a valid driver's license.
6. No person under 12 years of age is allowed in any park unless accompanied by an adult.
7. Fires are allowed in designated areas only.
8. All fishing shall comply with State Fishing laws and regulations.
9. Skiing is allowed only in designated areas, check with Park Personnel for designated skiing times, and inaccordance with State laws. No more than one (1) tube or flotation device being pulled behind any boat. No more than one (1) person on a tube or flotation device while in tow.
10. All vehicles must be properly licensed under State law and obey State traffic laws and posted speed limits within the confines of District property.
11. ATV's, Scooters and Go-Carts are prohibited from use in all PHWD parks. This includes combustible and battery powered vehicles. Carts/vehicles required by handicapped individuals will be considered on a case by case basis by the District Office.
12. Vandalism of any building, structure, plant or property of PHWD is prohibited.
13. No person shall litter, pollute or dispose of any waste in or on any property of Lake of PHWD .
14. Pets are prohibited in swimming area and beaches, cabins, cabin area, motel, motel area, or offices of the District and shall be leashed in all other areas.
15. Horseback riding is not allowed in District parks.
16. Hunting and molesting animals within the District boundaries is prohibited.
17. Firearms are prohibited except for authorized personnel or under special permit.
18. Explosives or fireworks are prohibited.
19. Disorderly conduct is prohibited, including but not limited to: Abusive language, intoxication, disturbance, or breach of peace of others.
20. Violation of any applicable State, Federal, and Local law or ordinance and violation of posted instructions or warning signs are prohibited.
21. Possession or use of alcoholic beverages is prohibited.
22. Any and all exhibits or displays, which shall include but not limited to political, social, economic, or religious exhibits or displays shall require a permit to be issued by the District.
23. Aviation activity is prohibited except under permit.
24. Unauthorized entrance onto District property constitutes a misdemeanor and shall be punishable as provided by State law.
25. All employees of the District are charged with enforcement of these regulations and shall cooperate and assist all other lawful authorities in the enforcement of laws within the District.
26. Any violation of these regulations shall constitute a misdemeanor and shall be punishable as provided by State law.
27. The PHWD Board of Directors may amend these regulations at any time as such changes or revision is required, as allowed by law.
28. Jet Skis, Waverunners/Waterbikes are allowed only at Flint Creek Water Park , Big Creek Water, Archusa Creek Water Park and Okatibbee Water Park, within designated areas only. (See Schedule of days/times allowed rules and regulations).
29. The Executive Director may issue permits for exceptions from the foregoing rules and regulations as provided for therein. Requests for such permits shall be submitted to the Park Managers of the parks affected and referred to the Executive Director through the District Park Superintendent.
30. All baitfish used on the District lakes are subject to a maximum size of 5”.
31. Use of elevated platforms for fishing or spotting beds from February 1 through March 31 of each year is prohibited.
32. Areas designated and marked off by District personnel for limited or restricted use from February 1 through
March 31 of each year shall not be utilized by the public.
